Postgraduate members receive benefits such as: reduced membership dues, discounted APhA Annual Meeting fees, opportunities for networking and social events, opportunities for leadership positions and committee involvement, opportunity to present research at the APhA Annual Meeting, compete for the Postgraduate Best Paper Award, and speak for the role of science in the pharmacy profession.
The goals of the Postgraduate Initiative are to promote scientific research among peers, to increase communication and interaction among postgraduate members, and to establish collaborative relationships within APhA as well as with other pharmacy organizations. The Postgraduate Initiative is driven by the APhA-APRS Postgraduate Advisory Committee.
