Calls to U.S. Poison Control Centers rise for dietary supplements

KEY POINT

Reports to U.S. Poison Control Centers of dietary supplement exposures are common, with energy products and those containing ma huang and yohimbe causing the greatest amount of toxicity, according to results of a longitudinal descriptive study published in the Journal of Medical Toxicology.
